What to do when a messenger does not open

A calm checklist: connection, DNS, browser, APK, web version, official domain and backup communication channel.

Do not start with random reinstalling

If a messenger does not open, do not rush to install a random APK from an unknown source. First check where the issue is happening.

Does the internet work in general? Does the web version open? Does the issue happen on Wi-Fi and mobile data?

A quick checklist

Open the official website. Try the web version. Refresh without cache. Check whether the app is outdated. Try another network.

If the problem appears only with one provider or network, it may be a network-level issue rather than an account problem.

Keep a safe path

Do not type your password into copies of a site. Do not install builds from unknown channels. For a messenger, the installation source matters.

SafeSway publishes official access from its website. When in doubt, return to the main domain and follow links from there.

Open SafeSway or download the Android APK.
