A messenger without an advertising profile
What an advertising profile is, how apps can build it, and why a messenger does not need to live from user attention.
Advertising profiles are often behavioral
An ad profile is not only a name or an age group. It can be built from behavior: how often you open the app, when you return, what keeps you engaged, and which interactions repeat.
That model may be normal for social networks. For a messenger, it feels unnecessary.
SafeSway’s approach
SafeSway does not build an advertising model around your behavior and does not sell attention through targeting. The goal is simple: open the chat, write the message, leave without being pulled into a feed.
Some account and security data is still needed for the service to function, but that is not the same as building an ad profile.
