Private chats without routine manual review
Why personal conversations should not feel like a moderation queue, while service rules still matter.
Private chats are not public feeds
A public feed and a personal chat carry different expectations. Public platforms have audiences, recommendations and moderation workflows. A private chat is expected to stay between participants.
Routine manual review of personal conversations breaks that expectation.
Rules still exist
SafeSway does not turn personal messages into a moderation queue. If a user contacts support or submits a report, we process what that user provides.
The service still has rules against abuse, spam and harmful use. The point is that rules do not require constant reading of private conversations.
